They don't get us, the rest of the folk in Humblewood. We often are keep to ourselves. Some see us as aloof, others don't trust us, so we set up our own communities in the tree cities and towns of the forest. My mother is an aristocrat, from a long line of wealthy nobles. My father was an ambassador of lower rank. I, raised in the art of diplomacy and intrigue, never enjoyed that life. For the past few years, I've spent most of my time with the Sera Luma. While I could never have their beautiful voices, I learned to express grace through story and instrument. It was but recently I began to wonder what was out there, beyond the great city of Alderheart. The fires, the bandits, the stories of creatures. Mom always said I was wind-touched, but now I hear the wind and it calls to me. So I've decided to leave the nest, as it were, as home is within me. Wherever the wind calls, that is where I want to be.
